Hi ,

After nearly one year of sending emails, roses and candles to the Mr. Ratan Tata, asking him to save Olive Ridley turtles by stopping his port in Dhamra, it's come down to this...

The Tatas have committed to do a new study to see if their port will actually harm the turtles, but they won't stop work on their port. I think this is some kind of joke.

I think it's a joke because this is February, and the turtles are already arriving to mate and lay eggs. If the port is in their way, they might just be driven to extinction.

That's just why I participated in a poll today to decide whether Greenpeace should continue talking to the Tatas, or take direct action to stop the port immediately.

That's also why I think you should participate in the poll and let both Greenpeace and Mr. Tata know you don't have a sense of humour when it comes to the survival of endangered species.

I know the Olive Ridley turtles don't have a voice. That's exactly why I think you should use yours. Just click here to use it.

Thanks so much for helping out,
